UCD becomes No.1 in Ireland for EU Funding
 
UCD achieved unprecedented EU funding capture this year, particularly through European Research Council grants. Awards announced in 2022 covered Bronze Age archaeology, biofilm research, civil war history, neutron stars, political science, early Irish legal history and language, post-war representations of Irish alcohol use, and fictional portrayals of child sexual abuse.
